


Marcelo Apovian is a three-time Brazilian snow skiing champion, Brazilian snowboarding runner-up, Rally dos Sertões champion in the moto production category, and has taken part in four World Snow Ski Championships and two Winter Olympics. His experience with sports has led him to meet people and cultures from all over the world - situations in which the most diverse languages are indispensable.
After an accident that changed the course of his life and his history with skiing, Apovian became a partner in a video production company and later ventured out as a project consultant in Argentina. He also worked in the human resources department, helping to recruit professionals for senior positions in the corporate hierarchy.
With his most recent training in Coaching, Marcelo helps people in large corporations, such as Audi and Unilever, to develop new skills and improve their performance. In a conversation with Lingopass, the businessman discussed the use of English during his experience in the business world and how languages can expand talent inside and outside an office.
